Frequently Asked Questions
Plain answers to the questions clients ask most before they decide whom to call.
You describe the matter, we ask a few questions, and we explain where you stand, the realistic options, and a sensible next step. The aim is for you to leave understanding your own situation. If the firm is not the right fit, we will say so and point you in a useful direction.
Yes. Communications with the firm are confidential. The consultation request collects only your name, contact details, the practice area, and a short message. Please keep that message general. We will arrange a secure way to share any sensitive documents once we speak.
Four areas: tax law and IRS representation, employment law for employers, real estate law for commercial and investment property, and general business counsel. Many matters touch more than one area, and the firm handles all four, so you do not have to sort that out before you call. See the practice areas for detail.
Both. The firm serves business owners and professionals, and it also represents individuals on tax matters such as audits, back taxes, and resolution. On employment matters, the firm represents employers. If you are unsure whether your situation fits, ask, and we will tell you plainly.
Fees depend on the matter. Some work is a flat fee, some is hourly, and we will explain which applies and give you an estimate before any work begins. You will not be surprised by the arrangement. We discuss fees openly in the consultation.
Keep the notice and note any deadline on it. Do not ignore it, and do not feel you have to respond alone. Bring the notice to a consultation and we will explain what it means and what the options are. In most cases, once the firm is involved, we handle the correspondence with the agency for you. See tax law for more.
